Don’t wait until Thanksgiving to get your holiday groove on! Get into the mood now by penciling in one (or both) of our Christmas concert performances. Our repertoire ranges from slow and sweet lullabies (“Wexford Carol” by contemporary composer Elaine Hagenberg and William Ferris’ intepretation of Italian composer Bonnaventura Somma’s “Nenia Pastorale”) to joyous anthems (Hagenberg’s original “Alleluia”). Accompanied by a string quintet and oboe, we’ll also introduce you to “The Many Moods of Christmas:” four suites of carols arranged by Broadway orchestrator Robert Russell Bennett for the Robert Shaw Chorale in 1963. And what Tower Chorale holiday concert is complete without an audience carol sing-along?! We look forward to seeing you there!
